Eduardo Munoz Alvarez began with the biggest newspaper in Colombia known as El Tiempo on 2001. after those months he joined the international news agency REUTERS as a freelance photographer on 2002, with assignments at the south of Colombia during the Drugs War between the Government, Right hands groups and Guerrilla members.
After 3 years working in Colombia, He was based on the volatile Caribbean country of Haiti, covering breaking news and armed conflict between rebel members and UN peacekeepers, on 2009, he relocated in Dominican Republic from where he took care of the breaking news of Haiti for REUTERS.
He has been working as a freelance photojournalist in different countries as Haiti, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Iraq, Canada, and U.S.
Right now he is working as independent for the International News Agencies as “REUTERS, Associated Press, GettyImages, AFP, EPA, and VIEWpress in New York City.
